Vouchers

1. Voucher Redemption:

1.1 The voucher is only valid for tattoo services provided within Phat Kat Tattoo.

1.2 The voucher must be presented, fully intact, at the appointment. Any missing parts of the voucher render it invalid, this includes significant damage where staff are unable to legibly read the voucher.

1.3 No cash or credit alternative is available for the whole voucher, or any remaining balance.

1.4 The whole value of the voucher must be used in one transaction, no remaining balance will be returned in cash, credit or voucher form.

1.5 We only accept vouchers that have been purchased directly from Phat Kat

2. Expiry Date:

2.1 The voucher is valid until the expiry date written on the voucher by a member of staff and cannot be altered by clients.

2.2 Expired Vouchers will not be honored, and cannot be refunded.

2.3 It is the clients responsibility to use the voucher within the expiry time frame and Phat Kat takes no responsibility for unused vouchers and no refunds will be made.

2.4 The voucher must be used in full and before the expiry date. As long as the voucher is handed over BEFORE the expiry date, it can be used. Pictures do not count as a valid voucher and it must be handed over in person to a member of staff.

2.5 The voucher is valid up to and including the expiry date.

3. Booking and Appointments:

3.1 Appointments are subject to availability.

3.2 A voucher does not guarantee an appointment.

3.2.1 Phat Kat will make accommodations where possible if the client contacts us within a reasonable time frame to allow a voucher to be used but this is not a guarantee of an appointment.

3.3 If the shop is closed for any significant time through no fault of Phat Kat, we will extend vouchers by a reasonable amount and is to the discretion of the shop owners.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

4.1 Vouchers are non-refundable in any circumstance.

4.2 The same cancellation and late policies apply to appointments made with the use of a voucher.

4.2.1 In the case where the full value of a voucher has been put down for an appointment, and a client does not turn up for their appointment or is so late that Phat Kat are unable to accommodate them on the day of their appointment, or cancels the appointment; the voucher will not be returned to the customer and no refunds will be made.

4.3 If a client is late, cancels or "no-shows" an appointment, and their voucher is due to expire, Phat Kat will not extend the expiry date. It is the clients responsibility to use the voucher within the time frame.

4.4 If a Client "no-shows" an appointment with the intent to use a voucher, it will be deem the voucher void, and cannot be regifted, used or refunded and we may ban the client for future appointments and future attempts at purchasing a voucher.

5. Age and Consent

5.1 Using a voucher for a tattoo is only available to individuals aged 18 and above.

5.2 If a Client is not yet of age and a voucher is due to expire before they are of age, Phat Kat will not make any exceptions. It is illegal to tattoo anyone below the age of 18 regardless of an amount spent on vouchers, or consent from guardians. In this scenario, Phat Kat is not liable for the mistake and no refunds will be made.

6. Design Approval

6.1 It is the clients responsibility to ensure the style and tattoo they want is covered by our artists. Phat Kat is not liable if the style or tattoo a client wants is not covered in our shop, and no refunds will be made in these instances.

7. Lost or Stolen Vouchers

7.1 Phat Kat is not responsible for any lost or stolen vouchers, the client must treat the voucher as if it were cash, it will not be reissued if lost or stolen.

7.2 Risk of loss passes to voucher purchaser upon the transaction of payment and to the designated recipient.

8. Gift Vouchers

8.1 Vouchers purchased as gifts must be clearly marked as such during the purchase process.

8.2 The recipient of a Phat Kat Gift Voucher must comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein.

9. Redemption Limitations

9.1 It is the discretion of the artist if vouchers can be combined with other promotions, discounts or offers we may have.

9.2 Vouchers cannot be used to purchase merchandise, or aftercare products.

10. Voucher Value

10.1 The value of the voucher is as stated on the voucher itself, and will also be recorded by staff.

11. Non Transferable

11.1 Vouchers are non-transferable, and can only be used by the individual named on the voucher.

11.2 Each voucher sold is accounted for by staff, no fakes or stolen vouchers will be valid or useable.

11.2.1 If a client attempts to use a stolen or fake voucher, Phat Kat reserves the right to ban the client from all future appointments and renders the voucher, and any others purchased by the client invalid.

12. Artist

12.1 Vouchers can be used for any artist within our shop, however if a client had intended to use a voucher for a specific artist, and said artist leaves the shop, no refunds will be made as the voucher can still be used with another artist.

12.1.1 Phat Kat will always make a reasonable effort to announce if any artist is leaving for any reason to ensure vouchers can be used.

13. Voucher Value Differences

13.1 If the cost of the selected service is less than the voucher value, no refund or credit will be issued.

13.2 If the cost exceeds the voucher value, the client is responsible for covering the difference.

13.3 If a client changes their design to an extent that requires a higher quote, and the quote is higher than their voucher value, the client is responsible for covering the difference
